I am Densaburou Oku.  I am doing glass sculptures.  I came to the United States fifteen years ago already.  I am doing art stuff (laughter), and I have my feeling. I make art to catch  and express feeling.

Fifteen years ago I left Kagoshima, Japan, and I came to Bucks County, USA, Pennsylvania.  Each place I have known grows a different stream.  I am now at the point where I am in my life and my time here in this community.  This situation is a collection of my work over these years -- not looking back, but  the other point,  reflecting forward.

Densaburou Oku.  Sculptor.  Born: Kagoshima, Japan.  Lives:  Quakertown, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. Mr. Oku graduated from the Tokyo Glass Art School, Japan.  He received Creative Glass Center of American Fellowships.  His sculpture is represented in collections of Jerome Chazen, New York; the Museum of Decorative Arts, Switzerland; Seguo Vitre de Arte, Murano, Italy; the Corning Museum of Glass; the Kagoshima Museum, Japan.
